Variegated Peperomia

Variegated Peperomia prefers to be positioned in bright, indirect light. Though they are technically a member of the Succulent family, exposure to direct sunlight should be avoided as it can burn the leaves. Be sure to rotate your Variegated Peperomis frequently to avoid lopsided growth towards the sun.

Water roughly once a week, or after the top few inches of soil have dried out. Water your Variegated Peperomia thoroughly but be sure to avoid any standing water that may cause root rot. In higher light or warmer conditions, water more frequently.

Your Variegated Peperomia enjoys higher humidity, especially in the summer months. The Variegated Peperomia can be placed in a tray of pebbles and water to increase the ambient humidity.

Variegated Peperomia are happy in an average household temperature range, from 65-80 degrees Fahrenheit. Avoid placing it next to heat vents in the winter, this could cause the leaves to droop.

Variegated Peperomia do not require heavy fertilization. and can go it’s whole life without any supplemental fertilizer.

Your Variegated Peperomia is harmless for pets unless ingested in very large quantities, which could cause vomiting and irritation.

Variegated Peperomia can be susceptible to damage from the fluoride and chlorine in tap water. If you notice your plant leaves spotting, try using filtered water or leave the tap water out overnight to remove some of the chemicals.
