If you’ve ever looked at the ingredients label on salad dressing, you may find yourself wondering what some of those unpronounceable ingredients are! With this homemade, 6-ingredient avocado dressing, you can be sure that your salads will be tasty and healthy!
Ingredients:
- 1 large avocado
- 1 clove garlic, peeled
- ½ Tbsp. fresh lime juice, or sub lemon juice
- 3 Tbsp. olive oil
- ¼ tsp. kosher salt
- ¼ tsp. ground black pepper
- water, as needed
Directions:
- Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh of the avocado into a food processor or small blender.
- Add the garlic, lime juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Process until smooth, making sure to stop and scrape the sides down a few times.
- Once smooth, add water in small increments to thin the dressing to your desired consistency.
- Store in an airtight container for up to one week.
