Originating from Brazil, these epiphytic plants grow on tree trunks in their native rainforest. They can add a tropical vibe to your house and are easy to care for. Epiphytic plants, the most well known being air plants, have the unique ability to grow without soil. In nature, they grow on other plants and trees. Being rainforest plants, Bromeliads prefer high moisture environments.?á

Tips

Bromeliads can actually be watered with two different methods. You can water the soil around your Bromeliad, keeping the soil consistently moist but not soggy, or you can fill the central cup with water. If you choose to keep the central cup filled, be sure to occasionally flush?áit out and replace it with fresh water to avoid salt and mineral build up. Learn More
