The Orange Bird of Paradise can handle drier soil, but don’t let it dry out completely. The leaves will tell you if it’s gone too long without water.
Trim off any dead leaves or dried flowers to keep your Orange Bird of Paradise looking fresh and happy.
The large size plant is planted in a 10 inch pot with multiple plants in each pot. The plant, including the pot, stands about 24-36″ tall.

The plant arrived badly damaged with the largest leaves snapped off. 60% of the soil had been shaken out of the pot. Not well packaged, but seems to have shipped upside down the whole way too. I won’t be ordering again.
