Description
Native to South America, this plant is known for the vivid patterns on their leaves. Calatheas are also known as “praying plants” as many varieties have leaves that fold up at night. The Medallion Calathea variety gets its name from its round, patterned leaves.
Tips
This plant does best in medium to low indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight to ensure that the leaves do not burn.
